Sixty
Minutes is a collection of sixty, one minute films describing the area
of East London designated for redevelopment for the 2012 Olympics.
The format of each film is a 360º panorama shot from a motorised tripod.
It takes precisely one minute for the camera to revolve capturing the
surrounding landscape in an objective and unedited format as it turns.
The landscape that these films describe is on the cusp of change. The
Lea River and its connecting creeks and waterways support a range of
flora and fauna as well as a diversity of industries and communities.
Some of these have been relocated others will simply disappear. It is
the temporary nature of this unique environment that these films describe
and capture.
